The CommsOffensive mission of "barbecuing the sacred cows of the organisational communication industry" seems to be getting a bit of traction at the moment, with leading industry website Ragan.Com publishing a "front page feature" on a challenge to those who believe "competence" should be the highest aspiration of the organisational communicator.

The initial CommsOffensive piece which highlighted the distinction between the exaltation of "competence" and the need for an internal communication which goes beneath the organisational surface and overcomes the weaknesses of the hierarchical mindset can be found here.
